New CEO Paul Mason Explores Robotics and Automation at Australian Manufacturing Week 2026

Australian Manufacturing Week 2026 brought together industry leaders, technology providers, and manufacturing professionals at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre to showcase the latest innovations shaping the future of Australian manufacturing.

Among those attending the event was new CEO, Paul Mason, who joined industry representatives and technology innovators to explore emerging trends in robotics, automation, and advanced manufacturing solutions.

One of the highlights on the exhibition floor was the impressive display presented by Freelance Robotics. Their booth featured a wide range of autonomous mobile robots (AMRs), collaborative robots (cobots), and advanced welding robots, giving visitors the opportunity to experience the latest developments in industrial automation firsthand.

Attendees were also encouraged to connect with leading industry organisations including KUKA Australia, Infinite Robotics,  Kemppi Australia, and Arm Hub all of whom showcased innovative robotic and welding technologies designed to improve productivity, efficiency, and workplace safety across the manufacturing sector.

In addition to the technology displays, RSM Australia provided valuable insights into the latest Federal Budget release, helping manufacturers and business leaders better understand the economic landscape and its implications for the industry.
