The Australian Robotics Inspection and Asset Management (ARIAM) Research Hub and our network member, Australian Centre for Robotics (ACFR) at the University of Sydney will be hosting the Robotics Community Sundowner on Thursday, 20 November 2025, from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the ACFR Robotics Lab, Chippendale.

The event will bring together leading figures from the robotics and deep tech community to explore how robotics and digital twin technologies are transforming asset management across agriculture, defence, and infrastructure sectors.

Now in its third year, the Sundowner is expected to gather around 100 guests, providing an excellent platform for industry professionals to gain insights into emerging robotics and automation technologies, connect with researchers and innovators, and discover collaboration opportunities that will shape the future of asset management. Attendees will also get the chance to meet the next generation of robotics R&D engineers and experience hands-on demonstrations at Australia’s largest robotics lab.

The program will feature discussions on current and future trends in robotics and automation, with a strong speaker lineup including Emili Hernandez, Solutions Architect at Emesent, and Alex Shapilsky, Group Executive Deep Tech at Cicada Innovations, followed by a panel session and networking opportunities.
